Alicia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides individual psychotherapy for adults. Alicia offers a supportive, safe and non-judgmental environment for clients to explore, understand, and resolve issues. Alicia's style is interactive, warm, and strengths based.

about Alicia
As a LCSW, Alicia has worked in a variety of clinical settings including outpatient mental health clinics and hospitals. Alicia's post graduate training is vast with concentration in the areas of anxiety, depression, eating disorders, addictions, compulsions, grief, trauma, and critical incident stress debriefings. For many years Alicia has also worked in a hospital as a key interdisciplinary team member assessing and supporting patients undergoing treatment for both acute and chronic medical illness, and for those receiving an organ transplant. Alicia is a trained Critical Incident Stress Debriefer and Certified Grief Counseling Specialist who has helped multi-disciplinary staff both in and out the hospital-setting cope with stress reactions, build resilience and return to normal, healthy functioning after a loss or traumatic event. Additionally, Alicia has led the first Staff Bereavement Group within her hospital system to help support interdisciplinary colleagues cope with personal loss.
Alicia's background as a Division I Collegiate Track & Field athlete has made her particularly interested in the relationship between our minds and bodies. Alicia truly enjoys sharing the wealth of knowledge and skills she has learned from coaches, trainers and nutrition experts over the past 15+ years to help people optimize their health and fitness goals.

Insurance and Payment
Alicia is an out-of-network provider. Psychotherapy services may be covered in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Alicia provides you with invoices that are complete and easy to read in order to make your reimbursement process simpler. Most clients with out of network benefits receive between 50% - 80% reimbursement of the cost of their sessions, after their deductible is met.
